The 2009 Bishop Gorman Institute features three Tracks: Topics for Administrators, Curriculum Leadership, and the Teacher’s Track. Continuing professional development units (CPDUs) for recertification are available in all tracks.
The Curriculum Leadership and Teacher’s Tracks have the option of graduate credit. For an additional charge (a discounted rate from the standard cost per credit hour), two hours of credit may be earned at the summer institute. The third credit hour to complete a course that is transferable into a Saint Xavier University School of Education graduate program (and may be transferable to other programs) is completed in a one day workshop.
The graduate credit hours may stand alone and be used towards recertification or salary change requirements, but we encourage participants to investigate graduate programs of study at Saint Xavier University or other institutions.
