The School of Education offers the following programs approved by the Illinois State Board of Education through which graduates are certified in the State of Illinois:
- Early Childhood Education: Birth - Grade 3; Initial Early Childhood Certificate *
- Elementary Education; K-9: Initial Elementary Certificate *
- Secondary Education; 6-12: Initial Secondary Certificate *
- Music Education; K-12: Initial Certification
- Spanish Education; K-12: Initial Certification
- Multicategorical Special Education: LBS I
- Reading: K-12
- Educational Administration and Supervision
- School Counseling
