Adjunct Faculty/Graduate Reading Program

Function:

Adjunct faculty member to teach courses in the Reading program offered by Saint Xavier University in the following areas: Genoa, Lake Villa, and Palatine. Examples of specific courses may include reading theory and practice, language development and literacy instruction, technology and the reading specialist, teaching reading in the content area, diagnostic teaching and testing of reading disabilities.

Qualifications:

A minimum of a master’s degree with a doctorate preferred in reading or closely related area, experience as a reading specialist or reading teacher in a school setting, and interest in the education and preparation of reading specialists in schools.
