Assistant Professor of Accounting

Function:

Teaching responsibilities include both undergraduate and graduate classes in Accounting. It also includes advising students, scholarly activity, and service on university and school committees.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess a doctorate in Accounting with an emphasis in Accounting Information Systems/Forensic Accounting from an AACSB accredited business school, ABDs will be considered but must complete the degree prior to start date. Required competencies include demonstrated effectiveness in college teaching and demonstrated ability to successfully conduct scholarly research and publish, consistent with AACSB standards. Preference will be given to individuals with the ability to enhance teaching effectiveness with the use of technology.
