Function:

The Instructional Trainer will be responsible for providing effective technology consulting services to faculty and for insuring timely completion of technology based course and program development initiatives and projects. The designer will function as a team member in the division of information resources and technologies.
This position will work with a diverse group of SXU community members which will include faculty as content experts and one or more instructional technologists, graphic designers and web development programmers. This position will play a key role in Saint Xavier University's efforts to provide pedagogical, instructional design and consultation related to course development of modules and whole curriculum activities for instructor led, hybrid and online course projects.

Qualifications:

Master's (Ph.D. preferred) degree in, or related to, instructional design, curriculum and instruction, educational psychology, educational leadership or related field. Three years experience with pedagogy and application of instructional design theory, learning theory principles and practices to the development of online courses and programs. Three years experience providing pedagogical and technical assistance to higher education faculty, teaching or experience teaching with the use of technology for a minimum of three years.
