The Council provides a venue for the discussion of issues and problems that cross-departmental lines and serves as a conduit for the communication of changes in academic policies or institutional procedures. Additionally, the Academic Support Council meets occasionally with the Deans’ Council to discuss ways in which services to faculty and students may be improved.
