The Latino/Latin American studies minor requires 18 credit-hours. Students must take LS 101 and one course in Spanish literature, culture or language at any level. The remaining 12 credit-hours are open to the student's choice and may be drawn from courses offered from a range of academic departments. No more than two courses may be taken from any one discipline. It is recommended, though not required, that LS 101 be taken prior to or in conjunction with other Latino/Latin American studies courses.
Students interested in declaring a minor in Latino/Latin American studies should contact the program director, Dr. Olga Vilella.
