MusicMusic Facilities
The Department of Music is housed in the Warde Academic Center and includes a rehearsal/performance space, a computer laboratory, an electronic piano laboratory, classrooms, teaching studios, practice rooms and a music computer/listening center.
McGuire Hall, the primary performance hall, seats approximately 300 and is used for many performances. University music ensembles also utilize neighborhood facilities, which offer a wide variety of acoustical and performance space for occasional off-campus performances.
Music students and SXU faculty have the opportunity to hear their peers, as well as SXU faculty and invited guests on programs presented each academic year.
