Victoria Walters-Beach graduated from Saint Xavier University in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in music education. In 2010 Victoria obtained a masters degree in music education from Northwestern University, where she graduated with honors. Victoria has completed levels one and two of the Orff certification program at Vandercook College of Music, and level three at DePaul University. In addition, she has studied Guniean drumming and Balinese Gamelan at DePaul University and Eastman School of Music.
Mrs. Walters-Beach taught first - fourth grade general music and fifth grade beginning band at Palos East Elementary in Palos District 118 from 2005-2012 and is currently teaching first - fifth grade general music at Beebe Elementary in Naperville District 203. During the summers of 2011 and 2012, she worked with the Dominican University Gifted and Talented Program teaching various general music and music history courses to children between the ages of 9-14.
Mrs. Walters-Beach is a freelance musician based mostly on the Southside of Chicago. She has performed regularly with Night Blue Theatre over the past eight years as well as other community theatres. She also teaches private flute and piano lessons and conducts the Joy Ringers bell choir at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Palos Heights.
