Purchase an autographed copy of Michelle Gliottoni-Rodriguez's new gothic romance novel, Opera Macabre, following the recital.
Michelle Gliottoni-Rodriguez earned a bachelor of music in vocal performance from SXU in 2002.
Her musical theater performance experience has included Carousel and Mame. Michelle has won various musical awards, including semifinalist at the National Association of Teachers of Singing competition and third place in the Josephine Lipuma Vocal Scholarship Competition, and in 2002 she was the recipient of the Nicholas Raimondi Scholarship.
As a part of the SXU Opera in an Hour program, Michelle portrayed Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus and sang roles in scenes from The Marriage of Figaro, Fidelio, The Old Maid and the Thief, The Impresario and Suor Angelica. Last spring in the SXU production of The Mikado, she played Yum-Yum.
