MBA at Chicago Police Department
Saint Xavier University accepts applications throughout the year for MBA and certificate program classes that will be offered at the Chicago Police Department Education and Training Division. Terms begin each year in August, October, January, March and June. For more details, view the spring 2018 program schedule (PDF).
The CPD program is run out of the Chicago Police Training Academy where all core courses are available over a two-year cycle. CPD members are also able to take classes online or at the Chicago or Orland Park campus if that would be more convenient. However, all concentration courses are restricted to online or main campus.
A Partnership in Education
Saint Xavier University offers a Master of Business Administration program, two undergraduate degree completion programs and a certificate option at the Chicago Police Department Education and Training Division.
Saint Xavier University offers an entire MBA program at the Chicago Police Department Education and Training Division specifically for employees of the Chicago Police Department. An MBA is a highly marketable degree for both public and private industry. Classes are offered in eight-week terms in the late afternoons, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., and also online. The MBA program can be completed in less than two years, if two classes are taken per term; or completed in less than three years, if one class is taken per term. Generally, class offerings are on Wednesdays. Online options are also available.
