Program Principles and Requirements
Program Principles
- Business majors are required to attend a series of seminars and events. These help students reflect on relevant career issues during their college education.
- Students are provided flexibility in attending seminars and events to accommodate work and school schedules. The program gives students a scorecard to verify that they have attended a certain number of events as a precondition for successfully completing their degrees. Students are required to attend at least one optional event of their own choosing per year.
- The seminars engage a variety of University and community resources including Career Services, the Chamber of Commerce, alumni associations, campus art and music events, and community organizations.
- The Graham School of Management will coordinate all events and verify student attendance.
