Ireland: Healthcare Through Irish Eyes
Explore the healthcare and nursing education of one of the most popularly traveled countries in the world. The tour begins in the historic city of Dublin where you will work in a hospital with one of Ireland's own nurses. Travel to the beautiful landscape of County Mayo and explore the Ashford Castle built in 1228. Depart for Galway where you will shadow a nurse in their state-of-the-art clinic. You will also depart for the Cliffs of Moher.

Prerequisite: NURS 282 and NURS 326.

Medium -- daily walking tours and frequent intercity travel.
Housing
Students will stay in double rooms in three-star hotels.
Admission
Minimum cumulative GPA: 2.5 Minimum Nursing Junior I status by January 2013.
Program Dates
May 9-18, 2013. There are five pre-trip course meetings during the spring 2013 semester.
Program Cost
$2,800.00 Program fee includes airfare, local transportation, field trips, lodging, breakfast daily and some group meals. Tuition associated with the Spring 2013 course is not included in the program fee. Tuition is paid separately during spring 2013.
