Services
The SSP staff works closely with all students to determine their area of need and to develop a strategy to meet that need. We understand that a student's success is dependent upon both academic and personal well being. In providing this holistic approach, SSP offers numerous services that address the needs of the students.
Student's who are admitted to the program receive a number of services including:
- academic planning and monitoring
- advising
- counseling (academic, career and personal)
- a freshman orientation
- cultural programming
How to Apply
If you are interested in joining SSP, please print and complete the application (PDF) and mail it to our office. Spaces in the program are limited, and candidates must apply to join.
The information you provide will be kept confidential but is required for our federally-funded program. If you qualify, we will contact you to make an appointment (eligibility requirements).
On the day of your appointment, please bring a copy of your most recent tax return (if your parents' claimed you as a dependent, you will need to bring their tax return).
