International Undergraduate Student Application Requirements

In addition to the application requirements for undergraduate admission, international students must submit additional materials.

For most international undergraduate and graduate students, the deadline is May 1 for the fall semester (classes beginning in August), and October 1 for the spring semester (classes beginning in January). Applications will not be reviewed until all documents have been received. International students who apply after the deadline cannot be considered, as they will not have enough time to receive their visa.

First-time undergraduate students must submit the following:

  • Online application for undergraduate admission.
  • Transcript evaluation from either ECE (Educational Credential Evaluators) or WES (World Education Services). The evaluation should show the student has achieved the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.
  • Official results of the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). For consideration, applicants must score a minimum of 80 on the Internet-based exam, 550 on the paper-based exam, or 213 on the computer-based exam.
  • A notarized Affidavit of Support (PDF) form and notarized bank letter showing the student has financial sponsorship in the amount of $34,000. The bank letter must be written in English by the sponsor's bank or must be translated into English.
  • A photocopy or facsimile of the identification page and expiration page of the student's passport.
