Favorite SXU Tradition: My favorite SXU tradition is the events of Women's History Month. I'm very thankful to attend a University that unapologetically values and respects women and helps to teach its community those same values.

I grew up in the small town of Rensselaer, IN. I moved in with my grandparents in Alsip, IL in 6th grade and stayed until I graduated high school at Eisenhower. I'm back in Rensselaer now with all thirteen of my eclectic kitties and two adorable puppies. I also adopted a curious little hamster, Oliver, which I so fondly call my son and he stays by my side wherever life takes me.
