After a very successful Cougar 5K, over 150 alumni, parents and friends gathered in the Alumni/Cougar Club Tailgate Tent prior to the Cougar football game. Scores of former athletes, coaches and parents joined President Christine Wiseman in the tailgate tent to support their favorite athletic program, and a portion of the fee for this event supported Cougar Athletics. In addition, former athletes who gathered all over campus to play in their alumni games told us they looked forward to doubling the number of athletic alumni in the pre-game Tailgate Tent next year.
To top off a fantastic day, our No. 1 Saint Xavier University Cougars scored 35 points in the first-half en route to a 49-14 homecoming victory over Trinity International University (Ill.) Go Cougars!

Over 50 attended our Alumni Mass in McDonough Chapel. Following the liturgy, the National Alumni Association honored three accomplished alumni at an awards luncheon. Though President Wiseman was unable to attend the awards luncheon due to her attendance at the Conference for Mercy Higher Education, she recorded a video welcome and congratulations message to the award recipients.
