  • Core Survey
    • Barbara reported on her meeting with Kathleen Carlson. The CORE survey implementation is being deferred so as not to compete with the university’s HLC self study. Carlson agreed to include CORE questions in the self study. This arrangement will provide a greater sample of students than originally planned.
    • Committee reviewed the CORE survey and selected questions to forward for inclusion in the self study. Questions discussed included numbers 12 A&C, 15, 17, 19, 20, and 21 E, G, B/H, N, O, Q and C. Derek also requested that the demographics area assessed student athlete status.
  • Incentives
    • Michelle reported that she purchased all the incentives discussed in the previous meeting. The committee agreed to use these incentives in future programs.
  • Memberships
    • Committee discussed possible ways to recruit students
    • Sarah agreed to speak with Daisy Arroyo about joining the committee
  • Alcohol Awareness Month
    • Brian reported that SSP will be co-sponsoring the Information/ Reflection table
    • Monica reported that 3 Nursing students have expressed interest in working on the month’s events. Sarah volunteered to be the initial staff contact with them.

    • Deferred until the next meeting

    • The next meeting was set for 1/31 at 1 p.m.
