  1. Sponsoring half-time at men’s basketball game, Wednesday, 02/27/2008, 7:00 p.m.
    Jill suggested we make sure to include the “myths” handouts, as those seemed popular at other events.
     
  2. Alcohol Awareness Month Activities
    1. Bulletin boards: 5 Res Halls, Shannon Center, WAC, OPC
    2. Information table at OPC with pamphlets and pens/cups
    3. SXToday announcements weekly
    4. Chalking campus
    5. Thursday, April 10, 10:00 - 2:00 p.m. Alcohol Screening Day.
    6. Thursday, April 17, 2:00 - 7:00 p.m.  DUI Simulator (tentative time)
    7. Prescription drug abuse
      Suggestions: Advertise the Simulator at the Alcohol Screening Day
      Have Simulator in Quad, if able to secure a tent
      Have a table at the Simulator event with AODP resources available
      Maybe high school counselors or pharmacies could be a resource with prescription drug abuse
       
  3. Collaborating with Sexual Assault Awareness Month activities (Apr 28 – May 2)
    Michelle will talk with Brian about this more.  Committee is in favor of collaborating, perhaps focusing on date rape drugs.
     
  4. When do we repeat CORE?
    Michelle will find out the cost and talk with Brian and John about university needs.  We would probably need to find a way to secure higher response to make it worth the cost.  (Less than 100 students responded in 2006).
