- Barbara Costello announced that Kenneth Bell and Avis Clendenen are interested in joining the committee but were unable to attend this meeting
- Committee Web site
- Barbara Costello announced that the AODP steering committee is now on the University’s committee Web site. Jodi Malloy Martin of CCS has agreed to do updates and maintenance of the site, which Barbara will continue to oversee.

- Per Brian Kelley, all information has been sent to Rob Quicke who is currently working on the site. He will be following up on the status.
- Committee discussion of the preferred sites on which to be a featured link identified Admissions, Athletics, Counseling and Career Services, Residential Life and Student Activities.
- Barbara Costello and Derek Begich volunteered to follow up with Admissions and Athletics to obtain permission as a featured link.
- Alcohol Awareness Month Programming
- Sarah Hein and Brian Kelley updated the committee on the status of collaborations with nursing and psychology students.
- Derek Begich confirmed the athletes’ collaboration on the awareness/reflection table and will work towards recruiting athletes to attend the guest speaker presentation.
- Committee discussion of ways to acknowledge student participants included listing them on the website and giving them certificates.
- Other Topics
- Sarah Hein and Brian Kelley shared information about upcoming Collegiate Substance Abuse conference that they will be attending.
- John Pelrine recommended that the steering committee discuss CORE survey administration for Spring 2006. Barbara Costello suggested that online survey administration be implemented for the next round of assessment.
