Biennial Review
- Sarah has received about half of the departmental sections we need. As a reminder, this is what everyone agreed to do:
- Academic Affairs: Julie Ashley
- Counseling Services: Sarah Hein
- Department of Public Safety: Michelle Bohacik
- Department of Student Activities: Julie Deisinger
- Health Center (new section!): Michelle Bohacik
- Residential Life: Brian Kelley
- Teryn also agreed to help with proof reading of the final copy.
Alcohol Awareness Week
- Week of October 16, 2006
- Informational/reflection table in the dining hall. Perhaps we can have something interactive at this table.
- Thursday Night Alternatives
- Other ideas?
Other Ideas/Thoughts
- What other departments can we collaborate with this coming school year?
- Maybe AODP can collaborate with the Health Center staff on more smoking cessation activities.
- Maybe AODP can collaborate with the Learning Center and do an educational bulletin board about the affects alcohol has on learning.
- Teryn will talk with Kate about the Health and Wellness student from SAB possibly joining the AODP committee.
- Perhaps we can send out a general invite to the campus community to see if others have interest in joining our committee.
- Ideas for more student involvement
- Solicit interested students at the campus picnic at the start of school.
- Talk with RAs about collaborating on programs through the year.
