Welcome Message from the Vice President

John P. Pelrine

On behalf of the entire staff in Student Affairs, I want to welcome you to Saint Xavier University. The supportive atmosphere of Saint Xavier provides numerous opportunities for students to get involved in the life of the campus with clubs and organizations, campus jobs, internships, cultural outings, world renowned speakers and much more. Students are encouraged, as stated in the University’s mission, to search for truth, to think critically, to communicate effectively, and to serve wisely and compassionately in support of human dignity and the common good.

We believe that the University and a student’s family are in a partnership to support the academic and personal goals of our students. We welcome the opportunity to work with parents and guardians in assisting with students’ growth academically, socially and spiritually throughout their career at Saint Xavier.

Please contact us anytime should you have questions or concerns. You may reach us at (773) 298-3123, studentaffairs@sxu.edu, or in room L-208 of the Warde Academic Center.
