Whether you need to fill full- or part-time professional positions, Counseling and Career Services provides free, convenient options to maximize your hiring needs.
Simply submit a job description for your vacant, professional position to Counseling and Career Services through Cougar Jobs. Please Note: non-professional, commission only positions or positions in which the student must make a monetary investment are not eligible for resume referral. If there are students in our resume database whose skills match your needs, those resumes will be sent to you. You may contact the students directly for an interview at your office or arrange interviews on campus.
Internship is an employment initiative designed to provide career related work experience to the student that directly complements his or her academic studies. The employer is expected to train and guide the student through this professional experience so that he or she may gain valuable skills in his or her major of choice to bolster his or her marketability upon graduation. The professional position is sometimes paid to supplement the student’s college expenses, and part-time as to not interfere with the student’s class schedule and responsibilities. Submit a job description to Counseling and Career Services for a resume referral. If a match is made, contact the Counseling and Career Services office for the appropriate paperwork. If applicable, your organization may be reimbursed a portion of the student’s hourly wage.
