- ISCPA - Illinois Small College Placement Association.
- Career Builder - Provides great informational resources to keep in mind while job hunting. Free resume posting with privacy policy. Conduct a job search using over 75 sites from across the country.
- True Careers - A very useful site which offers free services, such as resume posting, confidentiality, job listings, job searches and much more. It has great prep interview tips.
- Career Site - This is a comprehensive job search site allowing the creation of an anonymous profile for employers to view while allowing control and maintenance of contact information and resume disclosure. Find matching jobs and apply and forward resumes online. Also contains employer profiles.
- JobWeb - The online complement to the Job Choices magazine series.
- Chicago Jobs - Very comprehensive site offering other great career-related links.
- Career Builder - An excellent online site for Chicago land job seekers. Find job postings, career fair information and other items of interest to job seekers.
- College Grad - This entry level job site provides listings for internships and full-time positions nation wide. They also have direct links to employer Web sites. For the recent grad, find information on preparing for the job search, job listings, resume and cover letter writing, interview and negotiation information and the next step after accepting a new job.
- College Recruiter - Great site for internship opportunities and entry level positions. Check out the extensive career resources that they provide.
- Federal Jobs - This site is the United States Government's official source of job and employment information provided to the public at no cost. It is probably best to job search on this site during off-peak, non-business hours.
- FlipDog - This is a terrific site, easy to navigate, and there are numerous local (Chicago metro) listings. It’s also very convenient to modify a search if unwanted listings appear. Thousands of links to employer home pages. Job search resources, such as interviewing skills, stress management and resume writing, are quite extensive.
- GetTheJob.com - Search all jobs a company has available and apply directly to the employer.
- Get That Gig - This is a unique and fun site allowing the exploration of possibilities in a specific career. Lots of profiles of people who have cool jobs and how they got there. Excellent site for internship opportunities.
- Hot Jobs - This is an all-around good site. There are plenty of listings, entry level and experienced as well as terrific tips on resume writing, interview skills, attending a job fair, etc. Search may be conducted by eliminating search firms, if desired. The site is also linked to industry-specific resources, including articles and books that may be useful job search tools.
- Internet Job Source - Locate jobs at major U.S. companies, state and federal agencies.
- Internship Program - Use this site to post a résumé to employers who are exclusively looking for interns. Also search the database of internships, read internship reviews or create a real-intern profile. Utilize a number of links on this site to research companies, salary information and careers.

- Social Service.com - This site lists Social Work and other Social Service job openings that have been submitted by social service employers in various states. There are also hundreds of links to current “job openings” pages of many social service agencies in a given state.
- NPO.net - NPO.net Jobs is a free service for non-profit employers and job seekers. Job postings result from direct postings by nonprofits and direct notification from nonprofits in the Chicago area. Chicago area non-profit organizations may also post announcements of conferences, seminars, events and training opportunities on this site.

- Job Web - A one-stop career resource for searches of employer profiles and occupational information, link to job search sites, learn about online career fairs and job fairs in a given area, asks the experts for career advice and research salary information. Includes a section on life after college with information on relocating and managing money.
- QuintCareers - This site provides a "career toolkit" offering assistance with resumes, cover letters, networking, salary surveys, career tests and interviewing. It also allows research of companies and graduate schools. A free newsletter is also available.
- WetFeet - Offers great resources for its members. Registration is required, but free, for much of its resources. This is a great site to research companies or industries. Excellent job search techniques are shared in the Career Advice section.
- Eurograduate - This site contains great information for students looking to find employment in Europe. It offers excellent advice on resume (CV) writing and interviewing.
