Each year, the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning administers grant programs to support the scholarship of both faculty and students. The links below provide access to the 2007-2008 call for proposals. Lists of faculty and students who have received these grants can be found on the Faculty Grant Awards Page.
Fulbright Scholar's Award
The Fulbright Scholar Program competition is an annual event, which opens each March 1st for lecturing, research and lecturing/research grants in over 140 countries. Each year 800 American scholars go abroad as part of the Fulbright Scholars Program. Faculty and administrators from two-year, four-year and graduate institutions are invited to apply. Retired and adjunct faculty frequently receive grants as well. Traditional Fulbright awards vary from two months to an academic year, or longer. While foreign language skills are needed in some countries, most lecturing assignments are in English. Interested applicants should contact the Fulbright Campus Coordinator, Ruth Hansen, at rhansen@sxu.edu. You can also visit the Fulbright Scholar Program's Web site to apply online or to download application materials.
