Call for Nominations for the Scholarship Recognition Awards

Submission due date:  March 20, 2007

All full and portion-of-full time faculty members may nominate themselves or a colleague for scholarly achievements.

Scholarship Recognition Criteria:

  1. Is the scholarship notable – that is, beyond the basic scholarship that is part of the normal workload?
  2. Is there documentation of the scholarship?
  3. Is the scholarship current?  (Was the work done principally in the last 18 months?)

All documents should be submitted in a binder to the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (E-109).  The binder should contain the following information:

  1. Cover Letter
  2. Curriculum Vitae
  3. A detailed description of the scholarly work to include documentation of articles, peer-reviewed presentations or texts

Winners of the Scholarship Recognition Award will be notified by April 3, 2007.
