Chemistry Minor Course Requirements

The following courses are required:

CHEM 111-112 General Chemistry I and II
CHEM 251-252 Organic Chemistry I and II
CHEML 251-252 Organic Chemistry Laboratory I and II

Plus one of the following five options:

CHEM 211 Analytical Chemistry, or
CHEM 301-CHEML 301 Biochemistry I and Biochemistry I Laboratory, or
CHEML 304-CHEM 305 Synthesis and Characterization Laboratory and Advanced Inorganic Chemistry, or
CHEM 311 Instrumental Methods of Analysis, or
CHEM 331 Physical Chemistry I

At least nine (9) credit hours of chemistry above the 100 level must be completed at Saint Xavier University in order to fulfill the minor requirement.
