Application Process

The following documents must be completed and returned as a complete package to the Center for International Education at least 10 days prior to your study abroad program’s application deadline. Faculty reference forms (#4 below) are to be sent directly to the Study Abroad Advisor (Room E108 in the School of Nursing) by the faculty member.

Important Criteria

  • Students who plan on studying abroad must be a full-time, matriculated student at Saint Xavier University.
  • Students must be in good standing at Saint Xavier University.
  • Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.00 to study abroad.  Some programs, such as Ireland and programs in the UK, require a 3.00 GPA.
  • Students must be sophomores or juniors (must have completed between 24 and 30 credits).
  • Transfer students must attend Saint Xavier University for one full semester before studying abroad.
  • Please allow, at the absolute minimum, two weeks prior to the deadline to complete your application materials.
