Undergraduate Programs

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science is a generalist program enhanced by support courses in Mathematics. The emphasis of study in this program is on problem-solving and computer science theory. This program includes 54-55 credit hours in Computer Science. The Computer Science major courses are offered during the day at the Chicago Campus.

The Bachelor of Arts in Computer Studies is an applications-oriented program offered in the evening at the Orland Park Campus. The emphasis of this 44 credit hour major is on mastering the computer as a productivity tool. All of the computer classes are taught in state-of-the-art computer labs. Students experience hands-on instruction with the latest software.

A minor program in Computer Science will complement many majors at the University, especially majors in Education, Business and Science.

There are also special events and lectures sponsored by the Computer Science program that students are encouraged to attend.
