Organizational Behavior Track

Organizational behavior is the study and application of knowledge about how individuals, groups and organizations act and interact. Students in this major learn not only about how organizations function, but also how to maximize performance within organizations.

The bachelor of arts in professional studies provides a variety of opportunities for adults who are establishing new careers, completing a degree or enriching their personal or professional skills. Transfer Students

If students are transferring without an A.A. or A.S. degree, the Office of Records and Registration Services will create a program evaluation that will analyze the requirements for graduation. Some educational plans will need adjustments based on application of coursework to the program. Students may need to satisfy additional elective credits, which can be accomplished through CLEP, portfolio, Excelsior and/or ACE credits.

Prior Learning Credit

If you have previously attended another institution, or if you have military or work experience, you could receive valuable university credit. Adult students who wish to learn more about exploring their acquired skills and knowledge should contact the School for Continuing and Professional Studies at (708) 802-6200 or the Office of Advising and Educational Planning Services at (773) 298-3011 and they will be happy to assist you.
