Mercy Challenge Gift

The Sisters of Mercy, Regional Community of Chicago has made a major commitment of $1 million to Saint Xavier University to endow the Office for University Mission and Heritage. Furthermore, the community has pledged that if the University raises an additional $1 million for this purpose by June 30, 2008, the Sisters of Mercy will make an additional $500,000 gift to bring the total endowment for the office to $2.5 million.

We turn to those who value the qualities that Saint Xavier represents to meet this challenge and to extend the University’s educational mission in its Catholic and Mercy context. Now, especially at this time, we invite you to become part of this opportunity by considering a gift of financial support to the endowment—the Mercy Challenge Gift.
