Housekeeping

Saint Xavier University's housekeeping department provides the students, faculty and staff of the Main and Orland Park Campuses with a well maintained, comfortable and safe atmosphere. Staff consists of thirty-one housekeepers and two shift supervisors whose top responsibility is the cleanliness of all facilities.

Any problems or concerns regarding housekeeping should be immediately directed to Robert Anderson, Facilities Manager and Facility Management Coordinator, Matt Kobel, (773) 298-3558.

  • Classroom furniture
  • Cleaning services
  • Receiving/Deliveries
  • Replenishment of supplies in common areas
  • Spot cleaning of classrooms between morning and evening classes
  • Event set-ups
  • Snow removal at building entrances
  • Light duty furniture moves

Requests for special custodial services must be made in advance by submitting a work request. All verbal (telephone) requests may be made for emergency services that require immediate attention, such as cleaning up of spills through the following extensions: 3257 or 3558. "First impressions are lasting impressions."

Housekeeping Department is responsible for set-ups scheduled by conference and facilities functions held at the Chicago and Orland Park Campus for internal and external groups.
