Undergraduate Scholarships

Presidential Scholarship

Institutionally funded academic scholarship for high school seniors with a stipulated GPA and ACT/SAT composite. All Undergraduate Honors Program candidates will be considered for Presidential Scholarships. Award amounts range between $7,000 to $15,000, depending on merit and college living plans.

Saint Xavier University Award

Institutionally funded academic scholarship for high school seniors with stipulated GPA and ACT/SAT composite. Renewable based on full-time enrollment and 2.00 GPA. Award amount ranges from $1000 to $12,500, depending on merit and college living plans.

Transfer Student Scholarship

Institutionally funded academic scholarship for transfer students who have a GPA of at least 3.00. Must maintain full-time or half-time continuous enrollment and 3.00 GPA. Award amount varies.

Transfer Student Award

Institutionally funded academic scholarship for transfer students who have a GPA of at least 2.00. Must maintain full-time or half-time continuous enrollment. Award amount varies.

Lifelong Learning Scholarship

Institutionally funded scholarship, beginning for the 2005-2006 academic year, for students of at least 23 years of age and working towards their first bachelor's degree in the Liberal Arts or Business fields of study. Qualified candidates must possess a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Interested candidates must complete an application on an annual basis. CSEM Scholarship

Institutionally funded scholarship for those majoring in Computer Science and Computer Studies. Must be academically talented and demonstrate financial need. Award amount varies up to $3,125.

Athletic Scholarship

Institutional scholarship offered by the Athletic Department in men's baseball, basketball, football, soccer and cross country and women's basketball, cross country, soccer, softball and volleyball. Award amounts vary.

Music Scholarship

Institutional scholarship offered by the Music Department. Award amount varies.

Illinois Future Teacher Corps (IFTC) Scholarship Program

State funded scholarship for students preparing to teach in Illinois, with special consideration given for committing to teach in shortage disciplines and/or hard-to-staff schools. Must be enrolled at least half time as a junior or above, or graduate student.  Award amount is up to $10,000 per academic year.*

Minority Teachers for Illinois (MTI) Scholarship Program

State funded scholarship for minority students studying to become teachers, with the goal of increasing the number of qualified minority teachers in Illinois elementary and secondary schools with minority student populations of 30% or more. Must be enrolled at least half time as an undergraduate or graduate student. Award amount is up to $5000 per academic year.*
