Transfer Students and General Education Curriculum Requirements

1. Transfer students with fewer than 30 hours 
• All requirements
2. Transfer students with 30 or more hours
• All requirements with the following exceptions:
• No Transitions
• No First-Year Seminar
3. Transfer students with 60 or more hours
• Complete requirements of Illinois Articulation Initiative
• Introductory Philosophy
• 1 Religion Course
• Interdisciplinary Seminar
• Senior Transitions
4. Transfer students with Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degrees
• Introductory Philosophy
• 1 Religion Course
• Interdisciplinary Seminar
• Senior Transitions

Adult Students and General Education Curriculum Requirements

1. Adult students with fewer than 30 hours
• All requirements with the following modifications:
• Adult Transitions
• For BA degree, 6 hours of global studies may replace foreign language
