This innovative summer Institute addresses the specific interests identified by Catholic school teachers, administrators and leadership teams. This year features new courses and content for 2008.
Last year, Dean Beverly Gulley and School of Education faculty members worked collaboratively with an Advisory Committee of Catholic school leaders to identify curricula that provided professional development and supported leadership for administrators and teachers in Catholic schools.
Participants felt the Gorman Institute was a valuable opportunity to learn and network with faculty and other administrators and teachers. "The Gorman Institute is a greenhouse for ideas that we build on throughout the year," commented Sr. Jean McGrath, C.S.J., principal of St. John Fisher School.
