The Concentration in Project Management is designed to prepare new or aspiring project managers to oversee complex projects from the initial planning stages while balancing competing demands of time, cost and quality.
The Graham School of Management’s coordinated sequence of graduate courses focuses on industry-standard processes approved by the Project Management Institute (PMI) to help successfully manage any type of project regardless of scope or industry. Students will practice these concepts in a project-based team environment. This program will also prepare students for the components of the PMI Project Management Professional (PMP®) or Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM®) examinations.
In addition to the MBA Core and Foundation Modules (if needed), the following courses lead to the Project Management concentration.
| BUSGR 541 | Project Management Overview (3) |
| BUSGR 543 | Project Management Tools and Systems (3) |
| BUSGR 545 | Managing High Performance Teams (3) |
| BUSGR 549 | Advanced Strategies in Project Management (3) |
