Workstation Classrooms and Labs

Saint Xavier University's Computer Labs are available for current faculty, students, staff and alumni. A valid Saint Xavier identification card is required.

Class assignments may be completed in S-108, ACC104, and GS-106 on the Main Campus and all of the labs at Orland Park Campus. Students working on class assignments are given priority use of the equipment.

Laser printers are available in all of the computer labs. You may print one copy of each document.

Lab users are asked not to tamper with computer settings and software, and not to shut down or power off computers. All computer software and hardware problems should be reported to the Help Desk, extension 3291.

Lab Assistants are on duty during open lab times to help you with Microsoft Word and computer basics. Student Interns are available by appointment if you need more advanced one-on-one help with a Microsoft Office component. Please call the Help Desk, extension 3291, to set up an appointment.

No food or drinks are allowed in any of the Saint Xavier Computer Labs.

All Student Computing Facilities are closed during certain holidays. Please consult the bulletin boards outside the labs for holiday and vacation schedules, any last minute schedule changes or reservation announcements. Lab reservations must be made by faculty one week prior to the requested date.
