Wireless Access at SXU for Desktop Computers

In order to connect to the Internet using wireless technology, you will need to purchase a wireless adapter that is compatible with the "802.11b wireless Ethernet protocol." These adaptors can be purchased from the University Bookstore. Pacelli and Regina require a wireless connection.

The easiest way to connect a desktop computer to the wireless campus is through a USB wireless Ethernet adaptor. An alternative method is a PCI wireless Ethernet adaptor that is installed in an available PCI slot inside your computer.
