Minor Degree Requirements

The Latino/Latin American Studies minor requires 18 credit hours. Students must take LS 101 and any one course in Spanish. The remaining 12 credit hours are open to the student's choice and may be drawn from course offered from a range of academic departments. No more than two courses may be taken from any one discipline. It is recommended, though not required, that LS 101 be taken prior to or in conjunction with other Latino/Latin American Studies courses.
