About the Library

In support of Saint Xavier University, the Library is dedicated to providing access to information resources, facilitating their use in the learning process and reinforcing the University values of academic integrity and lifelong learning. To this end, the Library pursues the following goals:

  • Provide access to information resources that meet the teaching and learning needs of students, faculty, staff and others in the campus community.
  • Provide access, both on and off campus, to networked information resources.
  • Provide reference services and a program of instruction that will help empower independent inquiry.
  • Provide a physical environment conducive to study and learning.
  • Remain current in the fields of librarianship and information science.
