The Library’s Reserve collection allows faculty members to make supplemental reading or viewing assignments available for students. Placing items on reserve provides each student time-limited access to the materials. To place materials on reserve, the faculty member must fill out a Reserve Form (available at the Circulation Desk) for each course.
The Library reserves the right to decide how many copies of an item or how many items can be placed on reserve based on the number of students in a class, expected use, the library's past experience with reserves and space available.
The faculty member, not the Library, is responsible for obtaining permission to copyright clearance and permission to photocopy from the publisher. The Library is not responsible for any violation of copyright or copying by the faculty member or persons using the Reserve materials.
The Library is not responsible for materials that are lost, stolen or damaged. When possible, the Circulation Coordinator will contact the faculty member to report the problem and seek a solution.
The Library cannot provide patron or use information to faculty members.
The Library does not reproduce materials for reserve.
Materials may be placed on reserve for one semester per academic year only.
