Eight strategic directions will help realize this vision.

| 3. | Become increasingly recognized as an excellent school for talented students seeking active engagement in dynamic learning and exceptional campus services. | |
| 4. | Develop a campus master plan that supports and fosters excellence in teaching and learning, student growth and development and collaboration and collegiality. | |
| 5. | Successfully engage institutional constituents, forge a leading university advancement program and build mission-based transformational giving and philanthropic support. | |
| 6. | Significantly increase the visibility and recognition of people, programs and services through vigorous coherent public relations and marketing activities. | |
| 7. | Develop a financial 5-year financial plan that is fiscally responsible, supports the University’s mission and improves the overall financial health of the institution. | |
| 8. | Prepare a master of human resources plan that promotes the recruitment, professional development and retention of a talented and diverse workforce committed to the core values, mission and heritage of the institution. |
