Public comment sought on Saint Xavier's graduate Speech-Pathology Program

Chicago (Nov. 9, 2006) – The Council of Academic Accreditation of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association will conduct a site visit of Saint Xavier University’s Speech-Language Pathology graduate program.
As part of the visit, the public is invited to comment on the program at a forum from 4 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7, in the Alumni Room of Saint Xavier’s Shannon Center, 3700 W. 103rd St., Chicago.
Individuals who wish to provide input are welcome. Comments should relate to the program’s compliance with the published standards for Accreditation of Graduate Education Programs in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (1999). Copies of the standards are available by contacting the accreditation office at ASHA at (800) 498-2071. For questions about the forum, please call (773) 298-3571.
The Speech-Language Pathology Graduate Program is part of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
