Saint Xavier University annual Summer Concert June 24
Features performance by the Ron Bedal Ensemble
Chicago (May 30, 2007) – Saint Xavier University invites the community to its annual free outdoor Summer Concert at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 24, on the front lawn of the Chicago campus at 3700 W. 103rd St.
The Ron Bedal Ensemble will perform crowd-pleasing favorites for listening and dancing. The evening will conclude with a fireworks display and patriotic finale by the band at approximately 9:45 p.m. This program is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council.
The concert is free and open to the public, and picnickers are welcome. Refreshments will be available for purchase from the Saint Xavier Alumni Board, Original Rainbow Cone, Gilhooley’s Grande Saloon and SXU’s Cougar Pause.
