Saint Xavier University Symphony Orchestra concert Nov. 18

Performance scheduled for Beverly Arts Center

Chicago (Nov. 6, 2007) – Saint Xavier University’s Symphony Orchestra will perform at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at the Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W. 111th St., Chicago.

Under the direction of SXU Director of Instrumental Ensembles Alicia Neal, D.M.A., the orchestra will perform Beethoven’s King Stephen Overture, Schubert’s Little Symphony for Winds, Haydn’s March for the Royal Society of Musicians, and Mozart’s Symphony No. 35 in D major “Haffner.” 

The concert is open to the public. Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and visiting students. Admission is free for all SXU students, faculty and staff with a valid University ID. For more information, please contact the Saint Xavier University music department at (773) 298-3421.
