About Institutional Research

Institutional Research is the component of the Office of Planning and Assessment which provides guidance and information needed to support the planning, budgeting and research efforts of the institution. This office provides a wide array of services to internal as well as external constituencies. They include but are not limited to the following:

  • Supporting the University's strategic planning and decision making processes
  • Maintaining the University's historical data
  • Responding to external requests for information from government and professional agencies
  • Responding to internal requests for information from staff, faculty and students
  • Administering local and national surveys
  • Providing statistical analyses of data and other related support service
