Illinois Sex Offender Registry

On January 24, 2000, Section 485(f)(1) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 was amended to require that institutions of higher education advise the campus community where information concerning registered sex offenders may be obtained.

Sex offender information is compiled by the Illinois State Police. To learn the identity of registered sex offenders on or near campus, or anywhere in Illinois, visit the Sex Offender Database. The State Police maintain a Web site that allows you to search their sex offender database online at the Illinois Sex Offender Registry.
