Guide to Purchasing Textbooks

• Bring a course schedule.
• Course number and section are required to find the correct textbooks.
• Shelf tags are displayed for each course requiring a textbook. The following information appears on each shelf tag:
• Course Number and Course Section are very important. Different sections may require different textbooks.
• Number of textbooks required for the course (optional textbooks are listed as optional).
• New & used prices are listed for every text. Used books are not always available and prices are subject to change.

Regular Campus Bookstore hours

Monday-Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The Bookstore is closed most Sundays, University holidays and June 30th each year. Extended Friday hours are offered the week before, week of and week after the start of Spring and Fall semesters.

Textbooks and merchandise may be ordered online through the Campus Bookstore Web site. Online ordering offers free pick-up at our Chicago or Orland Park Campuses and a $5.95 shipping charge applies to UPS orders.

SXU Campus Bookstore accepts credit cards, cash, personal checks (two forms of identification required), SXU gift cards and SXU Cougar Cards.
