As Saint Xavier University continues in its strategic vision to be a leading comprehensive Catholic university, it is imperative that the entire University communicate with a clear, consistent public identity. The development of visual identity standards is critical to achieving this objective.
Each time someone from Saint Xavier University communicates with the public, that act contributes to our reputation. Public appearances, publications, stationery, newsletters,T-shirts, displays, business cards, advertisements, media interviews, Web sites, fliers, signs and other forms of communication represent not just the individual or program but the entire University. We must present a consistent image that reflects our quality, professionalism and mission. What follows in these pages is a guide of standards for how we express ourselves to all our constituencies.
The Office for University Relations is charged with developing the University's style guide (PDF, 2.7 MB) and graphic standards manual, but its role goes beyond distributing the proper SXU logo and signatures. It is University Relations' responsibility to help individuals and departments ensure that every communication vehicle meets the high standards set by our institution. The staff is available to provide the support you need to reinforce the University's image to the world.
