Saint Xavier Signs LiquidMatrix Agreement

Web Site Redesign to Offer Interactive Experience

CHICAGO (FEB. 26, 2004)-- Saint Xavier University President Judith A. Dwyer announced today that the University has signed an agreement with LiquidMatrix, a national leader in higher education marketing and technology. Through the agreement, LiquidMatrix will redesign the University Web site and offer visitors an interactive web experience.

"Visitors to the Saint Xavier University Web site will enjoy personal attention through the ActiveAdmissions software," said Beth Gierach, managing director of admission.  Features include an online application and campus visit scheduling function.

LiquidMatrix has won numerous awards for its Web site designs. In December 2003, Datatel - which provides Saint Xavier with its Colleague program - acquired LiquidMatrix. "Our Web site will be seamlessly integrated with Datatel Colleague. This will create tremendous efficiencies and excellent client services," according to Gierach.

Heading up the project implementation team for Saint Xavier University will be Maggie Eaheart.

"Maggie is the perfect choice for this project because of her employment experience in Information Services, Employee Services and the Office of Admission," according Vice President for Business and Finance Susan Piros. "She has an excellent grasp of the technical and services issues involved in a project like this." Other members of the project implementation team will be SXU Webmaster Jamie Still, Michael Prais and Molly Maley of Information Services and Tom Polous and Beth Gierach of Admission. The Web site Advisory Committee will also be involved in implementation.

The entire project is expected to be complete in approximately six months.
